The sound of flute used to attract me very much. I asked my Dad if I also can learn and play flute like Uncle John. Dad told me he will discuss about this with John. One Friday evening we visited John uncle’s house. He was then busy in the garden watering the plant. He wished us and took us to his balcony. We then were discussing about flute. Dad told him about my interest in learning to play flute. Uncle told me if you practice flute daily you can of course learn to play flute. He gave me one of his small size flute and also gave me tips how to play. For few days I practiced flute daily and used to visit uncle’s house on a regular basis. Slowly I lost interest on this. John uncle visited our house after about 10 days and asked me if I am still practicing. He also told that for last few days he was not hearing any sound of flute from our house. I knew I was caught. I told him my mouth pains after the practice. He told my Dad that the instrument flute is not easy for every one to play. But if you are still interested in music you can try with Guitar.

He told me Acoustic Electric Guitar is a good instrument and this is the right age to start with. After about a week dad took me to one of his friend who eventually has a music school and Guitar is also taught there. Steven uncle told me if you are going to join my school I would suggest you to buy an Acoustic Guitar. Not only that it is cost effective but also it is also good
for learner.

I joined the class within next 4 to 5 days and learned guitar there for more than a year. Later I joined two more schools one in Manhattan and the other in Special School of music both in New York. For last 10 years I am playing a Gibson Electric Guitar. This one is amazing of its type. Now I too have joined in a music school and specially take care of the beginner to start with Guitar.

In my child hood Uncle John gave me right advice to learn guitar. Even now I tell him that today I am a guitarist because he gave me right advice when I was a kid.

My suggestion to all patents and guardian is to study the interest of their children before handing over any instrument to them. They can consult good music school for this purpose.
